Fair Housing Statement

Every person deserves equal access to housing and professional real estate service.

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Our Commitment

Mesi Realty, led by Camesia Francis, is committed to making housing available to everyone on an equal basis. We adhere to the letter and spirit of the Fair Housing Act and all applicable federal, state, and local fair housing laws.

We do not discriminate against any person because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or any other protected class under federal, Texas, or local law.

Federal Fair Housing Act

The federal Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on:

  • Race
  • Color
  • Religion
  • Sex
  • National origin
  • Familial status (families with children under 18)
  • Disability

Texas Fair Housing Laws

Texas law also prohibits housing discrimination. Through the Texas Workforce Commission and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, residents have additional channels to file complaints and seek remedies when discrimination occurs.

What This Means for You

Whether you are buying, selling, or renting a home, you can expect to be treated with respect and professionalism. We answer questions, provide comparable sales data, schedule showings, and present offers without regard to any protected characteristic.

If you need a reasonable accommodation or modification to access our services or a property, please contact us and we will work with you to find a solution.

Our Practices

We market properties broadly and welcome all qualified buyers. We do not use language, imagery, or targeting that would exclude or discourage any protected class. We evaluate offers based on terms and buyer readiness, not on who the buyer is.

How to Report Discrimination

If you believe you have experienced discrimination in a real estate transaction, you may file a complaint with:

  • U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) at hud.gov/fairhousing or 1-800-669-9777
  • Texas Workforce Commission Civil Rights Division at twc.texas.gov
